The low number of students with disabilities graduating from College is a crisis by Jackie Mader and Sarah Butrymowicz from The Hechinger Report  posted 11/15/2017  This article states How better soft skills might boost low college persistence and employment rates. It says that a third of the students with disabilities who enroll in a four-year college or university don't graduate within eight years. For those that enroll in two-year schools, the outcomes aren’t much better: 41 percent, according to federal data. Growing up in Las Vegas, he was placed in special-education classes in elementary and middle school. The teachers didn’t know how to help him there.
